Halon 1211 is supplied in Green Bottles while Water Glycol is supplied in Red only. Capacity of the featured Fire Extinguishers ranges from .7kg to 2.5kg. Pressure indicators aid in the routine service checks. Bulkhead adaptors and special nozzles for accessing areas like avionics bays and cargo compartments are also available. Cargo Compartment Extinguishers have a 3kg capacity, use Halon 1211 and are available in Red (standard) but are aslo available in other colors as well. Associated brackets are available designed to secure the extinguisher "ready to use" and prevent extinguisher from discharging inadvertently. Lavatory Fire Extinguishers use Halon1211(BCF), Halon1301(BTM) or FE-36 Agents. FE-36 is a non-toxic, environmentally friendly alternative that has no effect on the Ozone Layer. Depending on the application these units range from .12kg - .7kg in capacity. They are sealed, stand-alone units able to detect and suppress fire without external action. These units have remote pressure switches to give visual and audible indication of a unit's discharge. Pressure indicators aid in the routine service checks. There are an infinite number of options in arm length to suit any aircraft installation. These are designed to protect Lavatory Compartments from waste paper bin, toilet flush motor and water heater fires.
